Expendables - FAIL

Funny when it wasnt supposed to be, just look like Sly was having a laugh. Depicted himself as the guy he wishes he was and clearly hold Statham in hi regard.

Lots of 80's "nobody shoot while we shoot you one at a time to lots of really bad camera angels"

Some fun in it, but lots of pointless elements one being Randy Couture.

And Jet Lee playing the role fo Jackie Chann (comedic martial arts).

4/10 - Just enough to stop me leaving, if you compare this to the last Rambo worlds apart, that was 80's violence with enough of a script to pull it off. This was chuckle brothers with guns

saw 'SALT' last night, basics of the plot were good but the execution lacked a lot for me, some decent action scenes but all too far predictable in the end, there were some serious holes in the storyline and Angelina is fully clothed the whole time.

5/10

Oooohhh! Harsh young Alex - very Harsh! Have to say - I thought it was great! Outstanding cast - albeit very brief cameo roles from Schwarzenegger and Willis, and as long as you take it for what it is - a decent action flick - don't think you can go far wrong.
The fight scenes were tremendous IMO, while perhaps not so much the 'one-liners'!
While Stallone and Rourke (in tems of looks) certainly look ready for the knackers yard - have to say that Eric Roberts and Big Dolph haven't aged badly at all.

Come on though Al - Randy C wasn't THAT bad was he? LOL

8/10 for me!

I repeat, Chuckle Brothers with Guns...

Come on Mick, what about the bit where Sly was running for the plane and then is pulling himself in, he runs like a thunderbird then the physics of pulling himself into the plane...

Just found it pretty amusing, especially the fight scenes..

Did enjoy Stone cold spearing sly, that looked brutal!

LOL - Agree - was definitely amusing especially Statham's 'knife-work'!
Yeah Stallone seems to favour that 'running man' routine doesn't he, the arms and legs working in an almost piston-like manner while essentially getting him no where quick, while grimacing as if his life depended on it! Seen it in the Rocky's, Rambo's and pretty much everything else - except yep - he's got slower!
Anyway - I didn't realise that you thought it was all real??

Stone-cold is great! Big fan fan of his along with the WWE. Did you ever see 'The Condemned' where he faught Vinnie Jones LOL! Classic!
