Detailed Job Description

We are currently looking for Handlers to work for one of our clients based in the Tamworth area.

We have immediate starts available:

Shift times/days: 

Monday to Friday and sometimes overtime available on Sunday

7pm – 3.30am

8pm – 3.30am

9.30pm – 3.30am

Pay Rate: 

7pm – 10pm is £12.45ph

10pm – 6am is £12.70

Overtime is £13.12

Contract Type: Temporary with ongoing work

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Notify hub management of equipment malfunctions and other potential safety issues

• Maintain a clean and safe work area. Promote safety programs and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor equipment/asset control by checking scanner equipment in and out daily
• Unload, load, lift, push, and stack packages
• Wrap, label, and move skids
• Process packages and create mailing containers
• Sort packages to correct location according to label, load chart or scanner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Ideal requirements for the role:

• No previous experience required as full training will be provided
• Job offer is subject to completion of onsite Induction
• The role requires to have a DBS application submitting at the cost of £38.00 which is applied for after Induction
