Elwood Recruitment are currently looking for a number of Parcel Sorters to work for one of our clients based in the Avonmouth - Bristol area.

The role is starting on 2nd October and an induction must be completed before starting.

Shift times/days:

Day Shift - 6.30am to 2pm

Afternoon - 2pm to 10pm

Nights - 10pm to 6am

Pay Rate:

Days – £10.90

Lates – £10.90

Nights - £11.90

New Peak Rates will change on the 30^th October and advance to £12.29 - £14.63.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

As a Mail Sorter, you’ll be unloading mail and parcels, moving them through our warehouses and ensuring that they arrive at their destination safely. During a single shift, you could sort over a million items with your team! It’s a very important role so flexibility, commitment and enthusiasm are key.

Ideal requirements for the role:

• You’re able to push trolleys (up to 250kgs) and lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg)
• Applicants must be 21 or over to apply.
• You can comfortably stand for long periods
• You don’t need to have worked for us before (we love new people!), but experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus. If you’ve worked for Amazon or another distribution company (such as DPD, DHL or XPO), then you’re definitely on our wish list too!
