Criminal Convictions
Some posts are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exemption) order 1975. Therefore, you may be asked to disclose whether you have any unspent convictions or cautions

Failure to declare a conviction may require us to exclude you from our register, or to terminate an assignment if at a later date an offence that hasn’t been declared comes to light. It is your responsibility to keep ELWOOD RECRUITMENT informed of any convictions or cautions whilst on our register.

The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) provides that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’. This means that they do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account. Guidance and criteria on the filtering of these cautions and convictions can be found on the Disclosure and Barring Service website.
Work History Details

References
The offer of employment is subject to satisfactory references. Please give names & contact details of present & most recent employers. You must not give friends/relatives as referees. It is your responsibility to ensure your referees are willing to write a reference for you and permission for us to contact them has been agreed. Please provide up to 2 years of reference details, this is the maximum ELWOOD RECRUITMENT will apply for dependant on contractual requirements. If you have completed a relevant Care Qualification BTEC/NVQ/Diploma within the last 2 years please include your course tutor as a referee.
Bank Details
